About me
Colors of Grief and Me
My professional journey began during the war, working with individuals who had experienced profound loss. Since then, I have carried a deep respect for the pain, strength, and fragility of the human experience.
My extensive experience and professional training in trauma and recovery, combined with my direct work with parents of children with developmental challenges, enable me to support people in gradually integrating painful experiences. I help them strengthen their inner resources and rediscover a sense of meaning, connection, and inner balance.
In my work, I combine professional expertise with genuine human connection, believing that real change happens through relationships
Let us build a relationship based on attentive listening, understanding, and a shared journey toward recovery.
Professional Path
After graduating from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, I have spent more than three decades continuously developing professional skills and working in the field of psychological trauma, recovery, and support for people in crisis situations.
Part of my professional journey began during the war years through direct work with hospitalized children in the Departments of Pediatric Surgery and Pediatrics at the Clinical Center “Koševo” in Sarajevo.
I enriched my work with traumatized individuals through collaboration with numerous organizations such as UNICEF, CRS, MSI, SOS Kinderdorf, the International Red Cross, and others.
I further developed my professional knowledge through numerous international trainings in crisis psychology, child, adolescent, and adult psychopathology, and trauma prevention and treatment in the Netherlands, Norway, Hungary, Israel, and the USA. A special area of my professional interest is working with trauma in children and families, as well as community support during recovery processes.
